I run a performance based start-up that runs shows every Friday night. Ninety percent of my job is setting up the stage, sweeping and mopping, taking inventory and stocking the bar. The other ten percent involves working the vision of the company.
I think working the ninety percent is tough because you sit there and think anyone can do what you’re doing, so you aren’t adding value. It’s remembering that sure anyone can do it, but not everyone can get the point where they have to do that work.
