Game of Thrones Lost its Logic

Let’s jump out of the denial stage everyone; it’s rough.

I know what you’re thinking.

This better not just be another person writing about how Game of Thrones is terrible.

You bet your sweet butt it is.

Don’t @ me.

I have read forum after forum, Reddit post after Reddit post, all about how Game of Thrones is blowing this season. Extensive in-depth analysis of what started happening after George’s books ended and what D&D began doing wrong to supplement.

All of these opinions are well and good, but they are missing the simplicity behind the logical and frankly lazy failures of the writing. We could analyze all the timelines and all the character story arcs to really begin to feel betrayed by the series, but a lot of people don’t have such an outspoken attachment to the show, and that’s totally okay.

That being said, this show is still failing. Even if you are sitting there, not caring about the how Dany’s story arc is going off the rails, how Tyrion has lost weight to his words, or how John didn’t pet the damn dog.

The writing still isn’t holding up.
